Meet Beth Cavanaugh "For as long as I can remember, the magic of watercolors has inspired me. Each painting is a journey with the mixing of pigments on textured surfaces. The delicate beauty of birds in the Carolinas is a constant source of inspiration. They make the perfect companions while exploring the outdoors. My own style is a potpourri of traditional and contemporary concepts. I use my imagination to create backgrounds that possess a dreamy, ethereal quality, yet always maintain the realistic images of birds." Beth Cavanaugh is a native of South Carolina. Her passion for art began as a child. At 12 she was one of several SC students who participated in the Tom Sawyer Project for the site of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. |
