Meet Linda Wulff

Linda Wulff

I started playing in clay about 40 years ago and became addicted!

I opened a small ceramic studio where I taught classes and began making pottery wind bells out of local driftwood, handmade beads and figurines. For many years, I sold my wind bells at arts and craft shows.

One year, when my electric power was out for 3 days in a row, the idea of my “candlevisions” was born. I was so bored with nothing but a candle flame to look at and remembered, as a child, making shadow pictures on the wall using fingers and a flashlight. I went to work and created my first “candlevision” (the Happy Face Sunburst). I didn’t wait for the power to go out again, I just turned off the lights and lit the candle. The room was filled with the fun smiling face. Friends started requesting designs special to them and soon these were added to the wind chimes and sold at shows as well.

In late 2006, I semi-retired, moved from California to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and hope my work will be enjoyed here as well!
